Ryan and I got to spend the week of the 4th with my family in Rancho. My whole family was in town so we had a reunion of sorts. We had so much fun playing in the sun, catching a Dodger game, seeing the sights, and doing our favorite thing: eating out. It was so nice to be able to escape the rainy weather in Boston to play in the sunshine in Cali. First on the agenda was swimming--however, we Johnstons like to float.

What can you do when you don't have 8 kids weighing you down? Visit your friends in Bean town! First stop: Giacomo's and Mike's. Thanks guys for the visit. We love you! and hopefully it won't be too long till we can visit you in the NYC again!
I have been fortunate enough to be sent on trips for work to places where I have family, so on my latest trip to Columbus, I was able to see my newest nephew Tyler and the also the adorable Kyle. It was great to be able to visit with Beth before they left for St. Louis--hope the move went well.
