Sundance 2008

Our friend Jed submitted a short film into Sundance this year and it got accepted. We were so excited for him and so excited that we finally had an excuse to attend Sundance for our first time. We met up with Kate and Jed at the theater, took a bus to Main street, got a little snack, spotted a "famous" Mormon film star, hung out in the Entourage tent (for Directors and friends) and watched Shorts Program IV. Jed did such a great job, and we were so happy that we could share in this experience with them.

Poor Suns...

We went to the Suns vs. Jazz game this week with the Palmers and got this picture taken of us for free. We had a lot of fun going to Crown Burger and cheering on the Suns. Unfortunately, Nash, Hill and Marion all didn't play so they lost pretty badly.

Brett and Lisa blessed baby Ryan this weekend in Utah, so Ryan and I got to go. It was a great blessing and fun to see family and friends.
Ryan was not too happy after I took this picture.

Thanks to the Cannons we have more pics of their adorable baby!

Pre-Christmas: Ryan and I enjoyed spending time with Jeff and Beth and our nephew Kyle. Isn't he adorable. Kyle is definitely a Johnston.....kind of looks like Ryan.
We flew to California for Christmas this year, so due to limited space Ryan and I enjoyed having our own little Christmas a few days before we left. Maleah's 1st Birthday Party: My best friend Jenee threw a wonderful birthday party for her daughter's 1st birthday. It was fun to catch up with the Domio fam and see how big and beautiful Maleah has gotten. Christmas Eve's Eve: Although I don't have pictures of any of this, it is still worth mentioning. This was one of the best days of our Christmas Vacation because Katie got into town and announced that she's ENGAGED! and we got to go chiming. Ryan's new favorite Christmas activity.
Christmas Eve: We spent Christmas Eve with our next door neighbor's the Pendleton's and a few other families from my parents ward. The best part was the little kids acting out the Nativity. I am glad I don't have to do that anymore. It is much more fun watching then having to participate.Christmas Day: Ryan and I had such a wonderful Christmas day! We enjoyed the traditional Christmas Eggs and spending time with the Whites. It was great to see Brett, Lisa and little Ryan. Thanks Mom and Dad for such a great Christmas! After Christmas: Ryan and I drove with my family to Boise for my cousin Krystle's wedding. We spent time with our Dunkley family and were excited to spend some time with Scott and Mitzi. We were especially excited that Mitzi had her baby so we could to see Corbin. What a cute little boy! Good work guys!Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years!
